Agent selection

To perform a monitoring task with the selected probe, you mush choose an Agent that will perform that task. You can choose one from the dropdown list in the Monitoring section. This list contains all installed agents, which are available for the current user.

You can filter agents using the text box in the menu by the following parameters:

  • agent’s name,

  • the name of one of the parent objects higher in the hierarchy (from the parent object to the rooted one).

    If the multi-parent mode is turned on for the agent, the agent is displayed in the list just once. The parent object with the least ID is indicated in the path.
You cannot filter agents by their version.

The dropdown list displays:

  • agent’s state (the color of the dot corresponds with the state color)

  • agent name,

  • agent ID,

  • agent version,

  • full path to the agent in the hierarchy.

Agent version will be displayed only if the server received data (stat) from that agent.

The button on the right pops-up Info modal window with information about the selected agent.

Information about agent version is indicated in the header of the Info modal window.
