Clear alarm automatically

There are two ways to automatically clear alarms.

Way №1:

  1. Object is in a state, which has an alarm severity assigned.

    You can set alarm severity in the States menu.

  2. Alarm generation conditions are not set up.

  3. Object state changes to a state without alarm severity.

By default, severity is set for the following states:

  • ALARM,

  • OVERLOADED,

  • DOWN,

  • NO DATA.

Way №2:

  1. Alarm is generated with an alarm generation condition.

  2. Alarm generation conditions are no longer met.

  3. Additional alarm generation conditions (), are also not met.

If the alarm generation conditions are not met because the system didn’t receive data, the previously created alarm for this condition is cleared and a new alarm is created with the MAJOR severity and the text No data.
